Everyone uses plastic daily, often without thinking about it. But is this really necessary? Not if it were up to Almar Fernhout. (Micro)plastic-free tooth brushing
Brushing your teeth works perfectly fine without plastic tubes. Instead, you use a toothpaste tablet. You store it in a glass bottle, which is refilled from a paper refill pack. Fernhout: "Our tabs are proven effective for oral health and are already recommended by many dentists. Regular toothpaste is full of chemicals like microplastics and plasticizers. These do little or nothing for your teeth and are definitely not sustainable. We work exclusively with good, natural ingredients and sustainable packaging and shipping."
