We’re happy to answer your questions!
To ensure that you consume as little plastic as possible, we have designed a special brush head for the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush. Therefore, it is not possible to use other brush heads in combination with our Electric Toothbrush.
Unfortunately not at the moment, we are working hard to offer these as soon as possible! For now, we have come up with another solution! You will receive the brush heads in sets of 2. One brush head says “clean” and the other has “smile” engraved on it. So you can keep the brush heads apart.
Our brush heads are suitable for children aged 6 and up. At a younger age, the brush heads may be too large.
Of course! You can do this via our webshop www.wesmyle.nl/shop.
Yes, you can do this at www.wesmyle.com/shop. When ordering, you can indicate whether you want to order with or without a subscription.
Yes! Then please email hello@wesmyle.com. Then we will make sure everything is delivered in one go!
You are already saving 88% of all plastic! Unfortunately, there is still a small plastic part inside the brush which makes it not completely recyclable. Cut open the brush head with pliers and take out the plastic inner part. The plastic piece can be thrown in the residual waste, the rest can be thrown in the organic waste.
It is not recommended to share brush heads, regardless of who. Brush heads are designed for individual use and sharing them can, for example, transmit bacteria. It is best to let everyone have their own brush head for optimal oral health.
When brushing with the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush for the first time, it can take some getting used to. Just like brushing with Toothpaste Tabs. Most customers report that this feeling goes away after a week or 2. That's why Smyle offers to let you try the ebrush for 60 days. If you are still not satisfied, please email us at hello@wesmyle.com.
Unfortunately, our brush heads don't fit an Oral B toothbrush. However, we do have specialised brush heads for the Philips Sonicare, which you can find in our shop!
You can cancel the subscription at any time, do so by sending an email to hello@wesmyle.com. Beware: if you cancel your brush head subscription or pause for more than 4 months, you will lose your lifetime warranty!
By using brush heads you can ensure effective cleaning of your teeth and the removal of plaque. It is clear that brush heads play an important role in maintaining good oral health. By applying the correct technique and regularly replacing brush heads, you can ensure optimal oral care. Remember that a healthy mouth is essential for a healthy body. So don't hesitate to add brush heads to your daily oral care routine and enjoy the benefits they bring for a radiant Smyle.
Press the brush head on the electric toothbrush hard, but with care. You will hear a “click” when the brush head is properly placed on the ebrush and then there is almost no space between the brush head and the ebrush.
When using brush heads, it is important to apply the correct technique for effective cleaning. Here are some tips to achieve optimal oral care with attachment brushes: Don't put too much pressure. Do not apply too much pressure while brushing, as this can damage the gums. Let the bristles do their job by moving gently over the teeth and gums. Brush with the right angle Hold the attachment brush at a 45-degree angle to the tooth surface. This way, you can more easily reach the spaces between the teeth and the gum line. Clean thoroughly Divide your mouth into different zones (for example, upper and lower jaw, left and right side) and spend about 30 seconds brushing each zone. Make sure to thoroughly brush all tooth surfaces and the gums. Use a timer To ensure that you brush long enough, you can use a timer. Most electric toothbrushes nowadays have a built-in timer, or you can use a timer on your smartphone. The Smyle electric toothbrush also has a timer; this way, you brush for the recommended two minutes. Extra tips Regularly replacing brush heads is super important to maintain optimal cleaning. Dentists and other specialists recommend replacing your toothbrush or brush head every 2 months. Here are a few more points to consider: Keep an eye on the bristles. If the bristles become worn or splayed over time, it's time to replace the brush head. Worn bristles are much less effective at removing plaque and cleaning your teeth. Personal hygiene Personal hygiene is very important for good oral care. It is not only important to brush your teeth regularly, but also to follow the right hygienic practices, especially when it comes to using toothbrush heads. If you have been sick, it is wise to replace your toothbrush head immediately. By doing this, you minimize the risk of reinfecting yourself with germs and help prevent the further spread of pathogens.
If you want to go for convenience, choose a Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush with a subscription. This means you get 2 new Bamboo brush heads sent to your home every 4 months, 1 new brush head every 2 months. PLEASE NOTE: The 1st delivery of the brush head subscription takes place 2 months after ordering the ebrush (as you get 1 free brush head with your ebrush). After that, it will be delivered every 4 months. Almost the same as the Toothpaste Tab subscription! Extra advantage: you also get a lifetime warranty on your ebrush with a brush attachment subscription. If it ever breaks down with normal use, you get a new one for free. You don't have that option otherwise!
If you purchased the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush without a subscription, you will receive a 2-year warranty from the time of your purchase. It is then possible to return the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush within that period in case of defects. Please email hello@wesmyle.com and include a video or photo of the problem. If contact has been made and it has been decided that the ebrush should be replaced, Smyle will create a new order for you! Then use the packaging from the follow-up shipment to return the broken ebrush with it free of charge. You can return the parcel to us free of charge by crossing out your address (your name must still be visible), circling our delivery address and writing “return to sender”. PLEASE NOTE: The return will only be free of charge if you put the parcel in the letterbox on the side of the road.
If you take out a Smyle membership, you will receive 2 every 4 months. Enough for brushing twice a day for 2 months. Don't have a membership? Then you can also buy the Smyle brush heads separately. These are packed per 4 pieces, check the shop.
It is recommended to replace your brush head every 3 to 4 months, or sooner if the bristles are worn or sagging. This ensures that the brush remains effective and maintains optimal cleaning results.
The brush heads are made by our partner in China.
Once you take out the subscription, you get a lifetime circular warranty. Should the electric toothbrushes suddenly stop working properly, please send us an email to hello@wesmyle.com with information about the defect. Also, always send along a video or photo of the problem so that we can find out exactly what is wrong! This only applies if the battery or vibrating mechanism suddenly stops working (properly), not if the electric toothbrush has been dropped. If there has been contact and it has been decided that the ebrush needs to be replaced, Smyle will create a new order for you! Then use the packaging from the follow-up shipment to return the broken ebrush with it for free. You can return the parcel to us free of charge by crossing out your address (your name must still be visible), circling our delivery address and writing “return to sender”. PLEASE NOTE: The return will only be free of charge if you put the parcel in the letterbox on the side of the road.
EVERYTHING ABOUT BRUSH HEADS Interchangeable brush heads are an important part of a good oral care routine. The right type of toothbrush head can indeed make a significant difference in the health of your teeth and gums. Therefore, we will delve deeper into everything you need to know about replacement brush heads. We will explain exactly what they are, the different types of brush heads available, and why they are so important for maintaining a radiant smile and, of course, optimal oral health. So let's dive into the world of toothbrush heads and discover why they are an indispensable tool in your oral care routine. What are brush heads? Brush heads are special brush heads that are attached to toothbrushes and are designed to thoroughly clean the teeth. They are designed to effectively remove plaque and improve oral health. There are different types of brush heads available, including soft, medium, and hard variants. Soft brush heads are ideal for people with sensitive gums, while medium brush heads offer a good balance between cleaning and comfort. Hard brush heads can be suitable for people who need extra thorough cleaning, but they can be too harsh for most people. It is important to know that brush heads can be suitable for different types of toothbrushes. Advantages of using the Smyle toothbrush heads The use of the right brush heads brings several benefits. Firstly, they ensure effective performance in cleaning the teeth. Due to their special design and bristles, they can easily reach between the teeth and along the gum line, allowing them to thoroughly remove plaque. Plaque is a sticky layer of bacteria that builds up on the teeth and can lead to tooth decay and gum problems. By regularly using toothbrush heads, you can significantly reduce plaque and improve the health of your teeth. Additionally, replacement brush heads contribute to overall oral health by helping to prevent gum diseases and assist in achieving fresh breath. Finally, replacement brush heads also offer convenience and ease of use. They are designed to be held and used comfortably, making the brushing process simple and pleasant. This makes replacement brushes a convenient and effective choice for anyone who takes their oral health very seriously.
The bamboo parts of the brush heads are specially designed in a combination of bamboo and corn starch and are 100% biodegradable. Our bristles – bristles – are made from fibers from the castor tree and nylon and they are free of BPA and fossil oil. Unfortunately, due to the nylon, the bristles are not 100% compostable. However, at the moment this is the best available option on the market. The only alternative is to use pig bristles, but we love animals, so we don't think that is a good alternative. There is also a very small piece of plastic inside the brush head to properly absorb and guide the vibrations of the brush. No alternative has yet been found for this. Every type of bamboo brush head has this. Our bamboo brush heads currently contain 88% less plastic than regular brush heads. Of course, we will always continue to look for even better alternatives. Have you come across an alternative somewhere that you suspect could be better? Please email this to hello@wesmyle.com . Then we go check this out!
The brush heads are specially designed in a combination of bamboo and maize starch and are biodegradable. The bristles are made from the castor tree, we chose this because the alternative is pig's hair, which doesn't make us very happy. Only the inner part of the brush head is still made of plastic, as there is no better alternative for this. Do you have alternative ideas? Please let us know!
You already save 88% of all plastic! Unfortunately, there is still a small plastic part in the brush, which means it cannot be completely recycled. For now, you still have to throw the attachments in the residual waste. We do our utmost to present an alternative to this.
The warranty only covers problems regarding the battery and mechanics. Toothbrushes that have been dropped, lost etc. are not covered by the warranty.
If your subscriptions fall under 1 account, the total amount (tabs + brush heads) will be debited in 1x. If you have multiple subscriptions under multiple accounts, each subscription will be debited and sent separately. Would you like to combine this so that everything is debited and sent in one go? Please email hello@wesmyle.com.
