NO, our Toothpaste Tabs are not safe for pets! They contain xylitol, and xylitol is good for our teeth but extremely toxic to dogs. Please keep our Toothpaste Tabs away from our pet companions.
The main ingredient in toothpaste is fluoride. Our toothpaste tablets contain the maximum amount of 1450 parts per million fluoride. Dentists love this! The fluoride prevents tooth decay and makes enamel less likely to dissolve. We also use hydroxyapatite, which is a body's own ingredient. Your teeth already consist of most of it! This remineralises and protects just like fluoride, but it also seals the super tiny channels to your nerves in your teeth, helping against sensitivity. And because it is tooth-proper material, and your teeth are white by themselves, so it also makes your teeth whiter! In addition to fluoride and hydroxyapatite, we have had the best possible broad oral care in mind when composing our tabs. Preventing gum disease, tooth decay and providing a fresh and clean mouth were our priorities.

Smyle has 2 varieties of tabs, with and without fluoride. With the version without fluoride, swallowing can't hurt, with the version with fluoride we don't recommend it.
Most people use one toothpaste tablet per brushing. But if you want to use more, you can do so too, no problem. It's just 100 per cent safe.

It is best to store the toothpaste tabs airtight in our glass storage bottle or in another airtight bottle or box. If not all the tabs fit in the glass storage bottle, it is important to store the remaining tablets in the refill pack in a cool and dry place.
From bamboo! Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant in the world and grows naturally after harvesting, without the use of harsh chemicals or pesticides. It contains natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-odour properties, so bamboo is hygienic and biodegradable! What about the pandas? We use Moso bamboo that grows up to 28 metres tall, so the leaves are out of a panda's reach. We love pandas! The bristles - hairs - are made from the castor tree. We chose this because the alternative is pig's hair, which doesn't make us very happy.
