Toothpaste helps prevent cavities and gum problems by cleaning your teeth and removing harmful bacteria. Since it was discovered that fluoride plays a key role in oral hygiene, it has been added to most toothpastes.

Fluoride is a natural mineral found in rocks, water, and plants. It helps remineralize weakened enamel, prevents tooth decay, and has antibacterial properties.

Fluoride is most effective at the scientifically proven level of around 1500 parts per million (ppm). We've partnered with the Academic Centre for Dentistry in Amsterdam to test whether the 1450 ppm released from our tabs performs effectively—and it absolutely does!

Additionally, Therametric Technologies tested our tabs and confirmed an excellent RDA score (abrasivity level) of 115. That places us right on the border between regular and whitening toothpaste, allowing us to confidently claim the benefits of both.

2. We use hydroxyapatite, a powerful remineralizing ingredient that boosts the effectiveness of our toothpaste tabs.

We've added hydroxyapatite to both our fluoride and fluoride-free toothpaste. Our bones and tooth enamel are primarily made of hydroxyapatite. Like fluoride, it helps to remineralize tooth enamel. It also seals tiny channels (called dentinal tubules) that lead to the nerves in your teeth, helping to reduce sensitivity. While doing all that, it also makes your teeth appear whiter, because hydroxyapatite is the same material your teeth are naturally made of. Unlike fluoride, it doesn’t kill bacteria—it simply prevents harmful bacteria from causing damage.

The biggest benefit of using toothpaste with hydroxyapatite is that it remineralizes your teeth—without the side effects some people associate with fluoride. We combine it with fluoride for double the protection. And even in our fluoride-free formula, you still get the right level of protection—thanks to the power of hydroxyapatite!

3. We don’t use microplastics, plasticizers, preservatives, artificial colorants, or foaming agents (like sulfates and parabens). These ingredients don’t contribute to oral health—and we believe they don’t belong in your mouth.

Aside from the environmental impact, using these ingredients is simply not healthy—and they offer no real benefit to your oral care. In fact, many of them have been linked to cancer, various diseases, and other harmful effects.

To highlight this: nearly 60% of all toothpaste contains microplastics, and almost all major household brands use cheap abrasives just to create appealing visual effects.
