After the launch of our toothpaste tablets, we naturally want to go straight ahead and add new products. That’s how we make the most impact together! We asked our fans what they wanted us to focus on and it quickly came to terms that mouthwash had a lot of gain.
A lot of people asked for the mouthwash and both the water itself and the packaging of traditional providers are full of bad chemicals and (micro)plastics. After a lot of research and testing, we can now offer a mouthwash tablet that meets the Smyle standard. But what exactly is mouthwash, when do I use it and is it something for you?
What is mouthwash?
Mouthwash is supposed to rinse through the mouth and then to be spit out. It may sound useless, but it sure isn’t! It kills bad bacteria and reaches spots you can not reach with your toothbrush. In addition, most mouthwashes often also contain oils such as menthol and eucalyptol, which helps to freshen the breath. Who doesn’t love that? It’s also great for the protection of your tooth enamel. You can find mouthwash in almost every supermarket or drugstore, often in dozens of varieties.
Good for you and the planet
Comparable to toothpastes, there is a fly in the ointment with most common brands. Not all mouthwashes are good for the health of your teeth, because they not only kill the bad bacteria, but the good ones too! And just like regular toothpaste, mouthwashes also contain harmful ingredients, such as saccharin, chlorhexidine, triclosan and parabens. Not to mention our archenemy: microplastics. Did you know that almost 90% out of all cosmetics contain microplastics? Mouthwash is no exception!
So we have created a mouthwash tablet that is good for you and for the planet. What makes Smyle Mouthwash different?
