About the Role
As a Junior Account- & Customer Success Manager, you are the driving force behind our commercial Retail and B2B activities.
You support and advise the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and ensure that commitments and activities run smoothly.
You prepare quarterly meetings with retailers (supermarkets and drugstores), create product catalogs, monitor pricing policies, and manage the promotional calendar. You act as the key link between commercial, finance, and operations, ensuring that retail demands are efficiently addressed. You keep track of margins, monitor industry events and trade shows, and coordinate distributor activities.
You maintain a clear overview of commercial planning around all main retail customers and all incoming orders and work closely with Operations to set priorities and manage deliveries effectively.
In short, this is a diverse role for a proactive and eager commercial professional with a hands-on mentality.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting & Advising: You are the right hand of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), ensuring alignment on key commitments and activities.
- Order Management & Planning: You have full visibility over incoming orders and collaborate with Operations to establish the right priorities.
- Retail & Relationship Management: You prepare quarterly meetings with supermarkets and drugstores and ensure seamless communication.
- Promotion management: you create and keep a clear overview of all promotions with each retailer, in terms of margins, planning and execution
- Product & Pricing Management: You create product catalogs, monitor pricing strategies, and maintain an up-to-date promotional calendar.
- Distribution & Operations Coordination: You maintain close communication with the Operations Manager and Finance to ensure retail requests are handled efficiently.
- Market & Trade Show Monitoring: You keep an eye on relevant industry events and trade shows, aligning commercial activities accordingly.
- Distributor Management: You serve as the primary contact for distributors, ensuring efficient collaboration. Monthly retail meetings with the team: you are in the lead to prepare a monthly meeting with the CEO, CCO and CFO to discuss the performance and facilitate the making of important decisions.
- Assortment Management: You make sure the assortment list is up-to-date in every system and that you analyze the performance of NPD.
What We Are Looking For
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A bachelor's degree in a commercial or business-related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an (junior) account management, inside sales or sales support role within retail/FMCG.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
- Affinity with operations, supply chain, and commerce.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel is a plus. Flexible, eager to learn, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Available to work from our Amsterdam office and accompany the Chief Commercial Officer when necessary.
