How does the Smyle subscription work?

If you want to go for convenience, choose a Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush with a subscription. This means that every 4 months you will receive 2 new Bamboo brush attachments, and 1 new brush attachment every 2 months. Almost the same as the Toothpaste Tab subscription!

What are the benefits of brushing with an electric toothbrush?

You remove dental plaque better with an electric toothbrush, which keeps your gums healthier. An electric toothbrush is made in such a way that you can place it well on your teeth to brush well. The correct brushing movement is also programmed into it. Another advantage of an electric toothbrush is that it has a small head. A small head makes it easier to get to hard-to-reach places, such as the back of your back molars

How do I change brushing mode?

Turn on the brush by holding down the on/off button a little longer and then pressing the on button once. Then it jumps to another position. If you want to switch off the brush again, hold down the on/off button for a little longer.

How do I know when the battery is low?

You can tell by the battery light on the front of the toothbrush.

How long can I brush on a single charge?

Normaliter kun je bij normaal gebruik (2 maal per dag 2 minuten poetsen) door 1 persoon met 3-4 keer opladen een heel jaar poetsen. Laat hem dan een dagje aan de oplader bij elke recharge voor het beste resultaat. 

Can I use my phone's charging plug for charging?

Yes, you can, or the USB port of your laptop is also possible. It works where the USB plug of the Smyle charging base can go.

What are the brush heads made of?

The bamboo parts of the brush heads are specially designed in a combination of bamboo and corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.

Our bristles - bristles - are made of fibers from the castor tree and nylon and they are free of BPA and fossil oil. Due to the nylon, the bristles are unfortunately not 100% compostable. At the moment, however, this is the best available option on the market. The only alternative is to use pig hair, but we love animals, so we don't think that's such a good alternative.

Inside the brush head is also a very small piece of plastic, to properly absorb and conduct the vibrations of the brush. No alternative has yet been found. Every type of bamboo brush head has this.

Our bamboo brush head currently contains 88% less plastic than regular brush heads.

Do the brush heads of other brands also fit on the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush?

To ensure that you use as little plastic as possible, we have designed a special brush attachment for the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush. That is why it is not possible to use other brush heads in combination with our Electric toothbrush.

What do I do with my worn out bamboo brush heads after use?

You already save 88% of all plastic! Unfortunately, there is still a small plastic part in the brush, which means that it cannot be fully recycled. For now, you still have to throw the attachments with the residual waste. We do our utmost to present an alternative to this.

How many brush heads are there in a package?

If you take out a Smyle membership, you will receive 2 copies every 4 months. Enough for brushing twice a day for 2 months.

Don't have a membership? Then you can also buy the Smyle brush attachments separately. They are packed per 4 pieces, check the shop.

I have just taken out a Smyle Membership. When will I receive my first two brush heads at home?

Two months after you have taken your Smyle Membership, you will automatically receive 2 brush heads for the first time.

Does a Smyle brush head also fit on a Philips Sonicare or an Oral B toothbrush?

No, it doesn't fit.

Lifetime warranty, what about that?

If you have taken out the membership, you get a lifetime warranty against wear and manufacturing defects. If the electric toothbrushes suddenly stop working (properly), please send us an email with a video of the toothbrush to hello@wesmyle.com.

Damage due to negligent use is not covered by the lifetime warranty. If the electric toothbrush e.g. broken by dropping or otherwise, we cannot just send a new one.

Can I also try it first?

If you brush with the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush for the first time, it may take some getting used to. Just like brushing with Toothpaste Tabs. That's why Smyle offers a 60-day trial. If you are not satisfied, please send us an email to hello@wesmyle.com.

What is covered by warranty and what is not? When is my toothbrush not reimbursed?

The warranty covers only the problems related to the battery or the motor. We do not reimburse toothbrushes that are damaged, for example because they have been dropped.

Can I also purchase the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush without taking out a subscription?

Yes, this is also possible. On this page you can choose with or without a subscription

Can I also order the brush attachments separately?

Of course! You can do this via our webshop https://wesmyle.com/collections/shop

Can I cancel and return my order?

That is certainly possible, within 60 days you are guaranteed to get your money back. Please return in the original packaging.

Do you also have a warranty if you buy separately without a subscription?

You can return the Smyle Sonic Electric Toothbrush within two years in case of defects. Please return in the original packaging.
